Cons The build seems to worry me about how it will handle 'abuse' over time. Not a sturdy as some other printers I've seen. on by john_stone | Read full review

Cons Limited image editing software included. Need to access soft copy of user manual to figure out what the limited menu on the printer screen is displaying. Printer can't support both USB and Wireless modes simultaneously. on by bill4482 | Read full review

Cons The cover over the scanner is not as heavy as I would like it to be but an okay trade off for the other features. Some have said the print software was not that good. I use more than one programs to touch up photos and graphics so not an issue for me on by rj4221 | Read full review

Cons Gray-scale duplex printing uses color ink...expensive for large jobs.
Cannot see printer on network without installation of Canon's printer software.
Like HP, a bit of bloatware, but can remove more easily than HP. on by Cordeval | Read full review -
Cons Althought it's not a problem to me since I don't print in color that much I can see where it might get a bit costly, but not as bad as some. The text renderings are excellent, clear, and bettere than a lot of the printers I have. on by dod0503 | Read full review

Cons For only spending around $100, there are really no cons. I would recommend it to those who don't want to spend alot of money. on by ChrisH67 | Read full review

Cons Canon needs to rethink the scroll wheel for character selection, during setup it can be simplified. Also it would be nice if it also had the on-demand power up capability that earlier canon printer had. on by webman58 | Read full review

Cons its kinda chincy looks like the type of printer that my grandma would use once and a while to print her social security receipts. Not a real work horse, well i guess you get what you pay for. on by christraceyandthe3 | Read full review

Cons 1 major issue. If you print in duplex, the text or brightness quality isn't as good as if you print with duplex off. The fast mode in duplex looks like a cheap old dot matrix printer, for those who remember them. I have a question in to Canon. on by mcsmith121 | Read full review
