"You get what you pay for."
4.5 starson by john_stonePros: Two trays to feed paper, compact style, ink cartridges can be refilled, duplex printing, easy set up.
Cons: The build seems to worry me about how it will handle 'abuse' over time. Not a sturdy as some other printers I've seen.
Summary: I trust cnet and go to them to make my choices so when I wanted to buy an entery level wireless printer I looked to see what cnet said. It came down to the Lexmark S305 and the Canon MP560. Due to cost and the recommendation I originally bought the Lexmark. After two weeks I returned the Lexmark and bought the Canon and so far I couldn't be happier. The Lexmark sucks through ink and you have to but original cartridges. Refilling them is not an option. After having to buy ink after 10 days the print heads went on me and I couldn't get the black or yellow to print. I dealt with Lexmark support and was told that I'd hear from them after the weekend - never happened, so I decided to return the printer and try the Canon. As I said I'm happy with the choice. The Canon is perfect for my household needs of printing documents and such (I have not used it for any photo prints). The wireless was easy to set up and I've enjoyed using the duplex printing option. So the $20 price difference was well worth the lack of problems and reliability I've received.
