"You certainly (don't) get what you pay for"0.5 starson by eboland
Pros: I can't think of one. This printer is a joke, a bad one at that. It came bundled with a netbook and was "free" but I did find it retailing for as little as $49.98
Cons: * It does not work
* Too many paper jams to actually call it a printer
* Blows through inkt - expensive to replace, HP will make profit here. This is razor marketing ."give away the razor and make them buy the blades"
* Did I mention it doesn't work
Summary: The printer was a free give away. Probably due to the number of returns,I imagine, based on my experience and reading reviews, Hp does make some of the best printers on the market; This one isn't one of them. I have always had software installation problems with the HP software (I am an I/T Department Manager) in all of the printers I have installed, but the F4280 takes the prize for the worst ! I had to "hack" it to get it not to "blue screen".
My recommendation is, unless you are in need of a large paperweight , do NOT get this "printer" even if you are paid to take it. Stay away and spend a little money and get a REAL printer !!
