"Buyer Beware - $114 for Ink, F- Indian Tech Support"1.0 starson by EarlyAdopterInvest
Sheet fed scanner works well
Cons: *$114 +tax +shipping for Ink !!!!
*Tech support is totally unacceptable, off-shore reps have both a poor command of the English language and weak technical skills
*Printer communication problems
*Drivers for XP seem to have compatibility issues
Summary: HP's tech support has reached a new low. Their Indian reps are the very worst I have experienced. Their English is so poor, it allows them to mask their extremely weak technical skills. This printer has had several communications problems with a relatively new high-end notebook with XP despite my installation of the latest drivers from the HP web site.
HP appears to gone through extensive trouble to fight price transparency by creating even more printer cartridge types, making it difficult for the remanufactured cartridge to keep up. Meanwhile, they have increased ink cartridge prices to an astronomical $114 + tax and shipping.
Short answer ? by Epson or Kodak printers. Always, always donate your printer cartridges to a local store or charity and not return them to HP. If you need to purchase HP ink cartridges, fill their return envelope for ?recycling? with scrap paper or some even heavier object.
