"DO NOT BUY THIS (OR ANY) HP PRODUCT!"
1.0 starson by JRS1200Pros: It looks good. It makes it look like you have a nice piece of office equipment.
Cons: Never works right: Feeder, card readers, networking, USB doesn't work. Scans to flash work 1/2 the time. Printer works 75% of time, other times prints random jargon or backwards images. Changes its settings itself. 4 expensive cartridges & $300+ cost
Summary: This is the worst piece of technological equipment I've ever owned. I've had some subpar results with HP equipment before, but this one has totally convinced me not to buy HP products ever again. If you're looking to waste money on a piece of junk that will kill your productivity and infuriate you, look no further than an HP all-in-one! It never works right: feeder stopped after a few months requiring manually placing every page on the glass. It doesn't read cards, networking doesn't work, USB to PC doesn't work and the software is terrible. Scans to flash drives work only 1/2 the time, other half it won't scan more than 4 pages & save successfully, making you to turn off & on and try again - likely failing and repeating this process again and again. Printer works 75% of time, other times prints random jargon or backwards images. Sometimes if you print 10 pages, you don't notice the 5th page was printed in the random code language until too late. The software randomly changes its default settings itself, and won't save when you change them back. Single-document print and/or scan jobs have literally taken me 1-2 hours to get it done numerous times. Takes 4 expensive cartridges (not including what you waste in reprints) & costs $300-350, but isn't worth $50. It would need a 3-year total replacement warranty just to offset the type of issues you will experience. I would probably not even take another one if brand new and offered for free.
