"Well...it's more stable"3.0 starson by ark_v2
Pros: - Snappier performance
- Cleaner looks
Cons: - Navigation is still unispired
- Still slow despite performance bump
- SLOW connectivity and sync performance
- Freezes a lot (even when it is less than before)
Summary: I've been using the windows version for a while and I can say I just use iTunes for managing music on my iPod touch, which I do manually since the sync with iTunes has always been a pain in my opinion. The only thing I like about it other than that is the iTunes store, but that's about it. It's still as slow, it consumes far to many resources (and it is not shown as in the Zune software) and the lists are still overwelming when managing gigantic music collections like mine. I haven't tried the mac version but as far as Windows media players concerns, the Zune software beats itunes to the ground, specially with the last update. I've used both softwares in two PCs (one with an old p4 and 2 GB of RAM and another one with a core 2 duo with 3 GB of RAM and a decent GPU) and the result is the same, specially with Windows 7. What a surprise, really.
