Manufacturer description

Click'N Burn Pro gives you everything needed to burn everything you got! With the Click'N Burn Starter interface you can start burning in 2 clicks or use the full application for advanced functionality. It burns audio CDs directly from MP3, WAV, WMA or CD tracks on the fly with no hard drive overhead. It is ideal for archiving your CD collection. It supports Single or Multi-Session CD-ROMs. Click'N Burn Pro is perfect for sending large files to others. It also supports Burn-Proof technology. Creates Video CDs from standard MPEG-1 files playable on most DVD players. With Veritas DLA, you can format, drag-n-drop or delete files from your CD-RW disks just as you would a hard drive or floppy disk. This version includes: Click'N Design 3d Silver to create impressive CD and Jewel Case labels; Click'N Edit Sound LE to record and edit music on your hard drive; Veritas Simple Backup to perform system backups to your CDRW drive; Veritas DLA that makes recording data to your CD-RW disks as easy as recording to a floppy drive; and 5 Pack of DiscSavers for protecting disks.

In Click'N Burn Pro 2.0, Stomp has created a program strong enough for power users but intuitive enough for newbies. With Click'N Burn, you'll have no trouble performing basic CD-burning functions, including copying a disc, making a music CD, and backing up files. But the program has you covered for much more. It creates MP3 discs and video CDs and even burns to multiple drives. If you're running a Windows PC, this is the CD burner for you--and at a reasonable price. But since Click N' Burn doesn't have a current Mac edition, Mac users should turn to Roxio Toast.

Create, copy, and save with ease
Click'N Burn Pro's installation routine is standard and takes only a few moments to complete. Every time you launch the program after that, a menu prompts you to choose which function you want to perform: copying one CD to another, burning a music CD from files on your hard drive, or backing up data. Whichever function you select, you must then decide which interface you want to work in: the Starter Interface (best for newbies) or the Full Application (best for pros).

The Starter Interface is smaller than the full application window and much more user friendly. We prefer it, since it gives you easy access to basic options such as choosing the drives you want and setting recording speed. The full application sports a standard, clunky Windows Explorer-type look, with a treelike organization and an imposing row of buttons along the top. The full interface seems overwhelming at first but actually gives you access to a variety of advanced functions. For example, it lets you view each drive's technical details and erase CD-RW discs.

It's quite easy to copy one CD to another. From the Starter Interface, press the Disc Copy button in the upper left corner. From pull-down menus at the bottom of the screen, set the recording speed and press the Go button.

You follow a similarly simple process to create audio or data discs from material saved on your hard drive. First, you must tell the application what type of recording you wish to make, and Click'N Burn gives you a blank list into which you enter the files--either data or music--you want to save to CD. Then, just press the Go button to start recording. For music files, you can set the amount of silence between tracks or create CD Text, a short title that displays on newer CD players when the CD starts.

Yet another feature sets Click'N Burn above the competition. The program lets you burn MP3 files onto CDs. In this handy compressed format, your CD will hold up to 10 hours of music (other file types yield about 77 minutes, max). The program also accepts MP3, WAV, and WMA files but won't read WMA files created in Windows Media Player 7.0 or later. A Click'N Burn representative informed us that the company is working to clear up the licensing issue that caused this problem and will release a patch soon. Click'N Burn and Roxio Toast also create mixed media CDs, so you can put audio and video on the same disc, for instance--an important feature for people who work in several different formats.

More power for power burners
If you have a bit of CD-burning experience, you'll enjoy Click'N Burn Pro's high-end tools and features. The program feeds music to up to four CD-burners at once: Just plug four burners into your computer, and Click'N Burn lets you choose to record to all of them. If you, say, publish your band's music yourself, this process lets you make lots of discs quickly. And at $49.95, Click'N Burn is a terrific bargain for budding do-it-yourselfers. Nero Burning ROM is the only other app that supports multiple drives.

If you're not ready to save a whole disc's worth of music at once, the DJ Burn feature lets you create a music disc one song at a time, recording in different sessions on different days. You need only take the disc out when each session is done and reinsert it when you want to record another song. While the CD is still a work in progress, you can play it only on the computer you're creating it on. But once the disc is full and you've finalized it (just press the Finalize Disc button), you can play it on any device that accepts music CDs, including the CD player on your boom box.

Unfortunately, Click'N Burn is lacking when it comes to video creation. Although it can make video CDs that your PC and some DVD players will play, it can't record to DVDs. Only Roxio Toast for the Mac can do that.

Many extras
Purchase Click'N Burn Pro, and you also get a suite of handy related applications. Click'N Design 3D comes with the bunch and is one of the richer CD-label-creation tools around, providing templates for a variety of jewel cases. Click'N Edit Sound LE lets users edit music, and Veritas Simple Backup makes it a breeze to run routine saves of whatever data you need to back up.

For power and ease of use, Click'N Burn Pro stands alone. You'll find few apps in this price range that can beat its basic CD-creation tools and also let self-publishing bands create multiple copies of a CD in a flash. Unfortunately, there's no Mac version yet, so Mac-philes should check out Roxio Toast instead.

Click'N Burn's Starter Interface lets you select which of the three most popular disc-creation functions you want to perform.

Worthless - Would not recognize my burner

Pros: None found

Cons: Never found my burner! At least Nero works fine but won't produce backups spanning disks. All in all, the best software is CD & DVD Creator 6 by Roxio (formerly published by Adaptec ver 4)

Works With XP

Pros:

Cons:

Review: I don't understand the negative reviews on this product. Lets look at the facts. One, it works with Windows XP and I know for a fact many other CD programs including Nero do not or only now and then. Second this program is very easy to use and works flawlessly. Third before posting negative reviews how about taking the time to at least attempt to find why it does not work with your machine, perhaps its the operator not the program? I am thankful someone finally took the time to make a program that works with XP. But then we have MS to thank for other programs not doing so.

To Be Fair

Pros:

Cons:

Review: The interface that most people complain about, is actually one of the software's strong points. It's dull because it is simple to use. I like that about it. IT FAILS simply on the merits of post-purchase support. Prior to buying, CnB staff were knowledgable and supportive. Answered all questions. Once paid for, it was impossible to speak with someone. The problem, as explained to me by a CnB staff person: Not enough staff. No budget for more staff in near future. That's an automatic "fail" in my book. Sorry CnB, I had great expectations. I have used every product mentioned by CnB reviews/critics. None of them do it "ALL." CnB comes as close as any other program. C-NET's review was pretty accurate, aside from the CnB support level, where I had "several" different experiences. One minor suggestion to C-NET for the feedback options; how about a symbol and rating between recommend and not recommend? Horizontal thumb? "Apathetic?" "Recommend to Strangers but not Close Friends?" At least C-NET allows feedback. Not everyone does. Thanks for the opportunity.

don't buy

Pros:

Cons:

Review: didn't work right out of the box. had no problems with nero demo. wanted to buy a good burning software. had multiple problems. customer support via email was impersonal, generic, and not helpful. ended up buying nero which runs with no problems.

EASY,COMPACT,RELIABLE!

Pros:

Cons:

Review: I use to use the Nero Burning Rom, but after I reformatted, I decided to look for another program. I came along the Click'N Burn Pro, the download was pretty small, and the installation was simple. The interface is very easy to navagate and I had no troubles burning my cds/mp3s/vcds/.... however, if you would like to burn your own dvds, stick with Nero, since the Click'n Burn Pro cant give you that option. Overall I give it a 9 out of 10!

This program sucks.

Pros:

Cons:

Review: I can't make any complete cd's. I get "buffer underrun" messages. I tried looking up Veritas for customer support, but good luck finding that. That's why I'm here. I'm looking for another program that actually works...

Will not work in newer Dell PC's

Pros:

Cons:

Review: I own a fairly late model Dell 8800 w/Windows xt. After repeated unsuccessful attempts to make this program work in my equipment I phoned the "tech-service" line and, after slightly over 15 minutes wait on long distance I spoke to a technicial who explained this is "typical" when "Click N Burn Pro 2.1 (I received an "upgraded disk"). He promised to e-mail a "procedure" I would have to download and transfer into the present "Click N Burn" program. After about 30 minutes of waiting for the new information to arrive I gave up and called again. You guessed it, another very long wait...followed by a disconnect! When I repeated the call I reached a taped message explaining the company work hours ended at 5pm P.S.T.(it was just after 5:00 PST at that time.) Now I admit to being somewhat "computer challenged" however, in this case, the problem is poor product design and the company should at the very least, confirm whatever computer information necessary to ship a "version" that will actually work! I haven't given up on salvaging this situation however, if I had known of the added expenses and frustrations ahead of time I would never have ordered the thing and put myself in this situation!

didn't work with my ROM

Pros:

Cons:

Review: I HAVE lITE-ON- LTR -32123S. I bright the program and installed it,there were no problems (on win98 se) then tried to open the program to get shocked that it does not support my cd writer, it didn't work even with the update and now i am using easy cd creator 5

User Rating: 9/10

Its really great and easy to use

Pros:

Cons:

Review: i have used this for audio and data and it has been easy for both...i like it better than easy creator because this has a more quick interface. I have tried everything from nero to easy creator and this surpasses all

Stop Whinning!!!!

Pros:

Cons:

Review: This program works just find. A lot of complaints are from users who can't or won't read the documentation and want everything to work pretty and perfect. When has that ever happened with a computer!? I run ME on my laptop with an external SOny burner and have never made a coaster with data or music CDs. Sorry folks, some of you must just have bad luck!

doesn't burn MP3 CDs, despite CNET's review

Pros:

Cons:

Review: I bought this software based on the CNET review that its the only one that allows you to burn MP3 CDs. All the other programs out there first convert your MP3s to WAV files. Well I installed it and tried to figure out where the heck is the MP3 burn option. Finally, I looked in the help file and to my surprise, annoyance and eventual anger, I read that the MP3 burn option is available to Click N Burn Plus, not Pro. Thanks a lot CNET. Now I am arguing with customer service to get my money refunded.

Crashes my Windows XP OS

Pros:

Cons:

Review: 1st, it doesn't support recording from more than 1 audio CD and if it does its impossible to figure out how. More important - its DRVNDDM.sys module crashes my Windows XP. XP kept sending the log to Microsoft and MS came back with a message that the above mentioned module was causing the crash.

OVER RATED

Pros:

Cons:

Review: Bought this based on these reviews. Will NEVER do that again. Interface is terrible, the jewel case creator doesn't automatically import track titles like CD Creator does, without an upgrade which may or may not cost extra. Some of the companion products (DNA, Backup softeware etc)created problems with XP and had to be deleted. Forget it - spend the extra for CD Creator.

User Rating: 5/10

Data OK, but you'll make lots of audio coasters with this one!

Pros:

Cons:

Review: I have successfully used this product several times for backing up data files onto a data CD. It seems to work pretty well for data. Unfortunately, for audio CDs, my experience has been very disappointing. I've probably thrown 150 CD-r's into the trash because of various problems I've had copying. I spend a lot of time on the road and copy some of my home CDs to take in the car with me. I am successful in copying about 1 out of 3, which I don't consider good enough. It either fails in the middle of a copy or it finishes and the tracks have noise in them or between them. I even replaced my original Creative Labs CDRW drive (which didn't have BURN-proof tehcnology) with a Plextor (which does have it)thinking that was the problem - but to no avail. I haven't tried video, so I can't answer that. If you're you're primarily interested in copying audio, look elsewhere.

User Rating: 3/10

Not a stable program

Pros:

Cons:

Review: I purchased this on line expecting to get at least a base CD burning program. What I got was a program that tried to intall itself every time I tried to load start it. I had to stop the install about 7 times every time I used it. The help files are no help at all. And it locks up some times. This software is sold as compatable with Windows XP I wouldn't agree.

Big Improvement over Roxio 5.0

Pros:

Cons:

Review: I am using Windows 98SE and had numerous problems with Roxio EZ CD Creator 5.0, especially on copying CDs. This program works very well and it is easy to use.

User Rating: 8/10

The best I've used!

Pros:

Cons:

Review: I have tried all the major burning programs. This is the first one that has worked flawlessly each time I've used it. Not one error, not one wasted CD. I highly recommend it.

User Rating: 6/10

Good not Great

Pros:

Cons:

Review: Purchased Click'N'Burn because they advertised that you could burn VCDs. Very little info on how to do this in the program or manual. Works fine for making data CD's or copies.

User Rating: 8/10

Saved me from throwing out my burner

Pros:

Cons:

Review: When I put a new CD burner (a Creative RW1210E) in my computer last year, EZ CD Creator (which I had always used) wouldn't work. In fact part of the reason I'd put the new burner in was because EZ CD Creator had stopped working one day out of the blue. The only software I could get to recognize the burner and work was the godawful NTI burning software. I tried everything to get EZ CD to work, but it wasn't happening. I was pretty desparate when I read Cnet's review, so I went out, reluctantly plunked down $50 and crossed my fingers. And it worked, with no glitches, just like EZ CD used to. Made my whole day, and it was pretty easy to use to boot.

WHAT THE?

Pros:

Cons:

Review: This is a very good piece of software. One of a kind a definatly the best out at the moment.

User Rating: 1/10

No Frills usability

Pros:

Cons:

Review: I began looking for an alternative burning software suit when I upgraded my computer to WinXP and could no longer use Adaptec Easy CD Creater 4. My first choice was Adaptec since version 4 worked really well on my computer but I soon found out version 5 was horrible and wouldn't even run on my system. My next choice was Nero but alias it too wasn't up to my burning needs. Then the cnet review of cd burning apps showed me my savior, Click N Burn Pro. It's easy to use without all those confusing interfaces and I'm glad its bland because you spend no time finding what you wnat to do. Its burning stability is great too with no "coasters" created yet. Its also a small program packed with all the features of the big boys. Believe me the guy who tried out all the big names, use Click N Burn Pro.

User Rating: 10/10

What a deal !

Pros:

Cons:

Review: I replaced Adaptec (Roxio) EZ CDC w/ Click n burn & wish I had never seen Adaptec. For price, ease of use, reliability it is tops.I just wish Stomp made OS & computers comparable to Click n Burn.

User Rating: 10/10

Works great couldn't be simplier for anyone.

Pros:

Cons:

Review: Had a friend show me how uncompicated this was and feel like a found the easiet and most reliable software. I have recommended this to several and all of them has had same results, GREAT PRODUCT.

User Rating: 2/10

Try something else

Pros:

Cons:

Review: Don't believe that they will give you a rebate. I've been waiting for mine since 12/01. I've contacted them numerous times only to be given a different excuse each time. The product is 4 stand alone products. Support is a joke. I'm sure there is a better product out there than Stomp's Click N Burn.

User Rating: 3/10

Look out, can mess up Win XP system

Pros:

Cons:

Review: Click?N Burn tools are good, but really want to watch out for the CD Format/Burn utility that comes with the tool- DLA. It caused some real problems with my Win XP system and I ultimately had to remove it; then since it did not record data in a compatible format on my CD R?s, some of my old data CD?s are not now readable on my CDRW, and I am not going to go back and install DLA just to read them. I should have kept Roxio Easy CD (gone back to this now). Their system tool warns you about compatibility issues and lets you decide what formats you record to?

User Rating: 7/10

Great Software for the money

Pros:

Cons:

Review: Only complaint is the veritas DLA on windowsXP, appears to be working, but doesn't work. They could clean up the interface a bit as well

Eats CD's

Pros:

Cons:

Review: Better buy at least 1,000 CD's - it's going to ruin at least 500 of them. No support, too many bugs.

User Rating: 3/10

Not at all what it is hyped to be

Pros:

Cons:

Review: I bought Click N'Burn based on the review and couldn't wait to get it. After a short test drive, Easy CD 4.0 is superior. CnB has a clunky interface, incredibly poor documentation, and poorer online support. Worse, it claims to do a host of wonderful things only when you try to use them, it gets fidgety. Veritas froze my computer. I was anxious to try the Video CD feature because I was looking for a way to burn jpeg or tiff images and create a VideoCD to play on my parents DVD player. There was no documentation or explanation prior to my purchase that Click N Burn can't do this. Overall, this was an incredible disappointment. Shareware probably would have been a better investment.

User Rating: 6/10

deceptive advertising concerning simultaneous recording

Pros:

Cons:

Review: I bought this product because various reviews plus the info on the box, claimed you could record with two drives at the same time. I got error messages that said both drives must have the same firmware version. I called tech support and was told that you had to have identical drives to record simultaneously. The program has lots of good features, but since I could do the same things with another program it really is of no use to me. Also, tthere is no way to convert computer image files made with another program, so you either have to start over or keep both programs. I think the info about the identical drives should be stated in an obvious place!

User Rating: 3/10

Saved the day!

Pros:

Cons:

Review: I am a small home PC Builder. I was assembling one for myself using ME and the 2 other programs (EZ-CD Platinum, Nero 5.5) were either causing freeze ups or generating errors. No burning could be done. I use Click-N-Burn on my PC Upstairs. I loaded it, updated it from the web, and I am now able to burn CD's with no problems.

User Rating: 3/10

No customer support

Pros:

Cons:

Review: Software generated an error message with my new sony 24X burner. I e-mailed their tech support for help and included the error message. One month has gone by and still no response. I tried a download patch with little success.

User Rating: 5/10

Annoying 2 sec gap between track

Pros:

Cons:

Review: I bought this Software based on reviews from CNET & ZDNET. It seems to manipulate data fine. However when copying audio tracks a 2 second gap is inserted between every track even though the "pre gap" shows "0" on the screen. Tech support says they've been getting calls on this issue. For music CD's try something else! Don't buy this one.

User Rating: 5/10

Didn't Work

Pros:

Cons:

Review: Went to XP. Bought Click'n Burn because of Cnet's review. The drag and drop is in a Veritas Program that is no longer being manufactured. Couldn't see my new Yamaha CDRW drive. Spent a total of over one hour on the phone waiting for help. Couldn't even find out how long a wait I had. The tech support form on the web doesn't even hold enough spaces for a good question. Sent emails and never got could make a good connection with a rep. Took the software back and bought Easy CD Creator. Works just like it used to on ME. Drag and Drop is great. What a Relief.

User Rating: 3/10

cd- rw capabilities lacking

Pros:

Cons:

Review: Although it claims to write data disks that are compatible on other computers, once the 'compatability' feature is enabled, the disk needs to be reformatted for rewriting. This feature is infinitly better on Roxio.

User Rating: 5/10

Not What It Claims to Be

Pros:

Cons:

Review: The "Click n Burn" part of this software bundle of 4 weparate programs is pretty good. But, Simple Backup does not support ATAPI CD burners and the sound editing software is slow and difficult to use. I may go back to using my old Adaptec burning software. In addition, on-line support is non-existant. If you just plan to burn from one CD to another, though, Click n Burn is fine. It is easy to use and there IS a PDF file to download that gives you better directions. If you are looking for software to back up your hard drive, edit music, or use CD's for backing up files, look elsewhere!

User Rating: 10/10

Nice ugly software

Pros:

Cons:

Review: Okay, It ain't pretty to look at but there were no problems installing under Windows XP and cost a lot less than EZCD Creator 5. Immediately did a disk-to-disk copy to back up the software - perfect. Later created a data disk to back up some other downloaded files - perfect. Allows better control over operations than EZCD Creator 4.xx from the advanced user interface and while it's not as pretty as that other product, I think I already like it better. I'm not happy with past support from Roxio anyway so was not so eager to lay out more $ to upgrade to EZCD Creator 5.

User Rating: 8/10

price/performance can't be beat

Pros:

Cons:

Review: I was using Easy CD Creator 4.0-something & upgraded to Windows XP only to find that I would have to spend another $79.95 for an upgrade for the same software. Yeah, right! For less than half the price, this software does just as good a job (and more). It may not have all the "bells and whistles" for folks that go for the flash, but for me,from a technical standpoint, it can't be beat for the money!!

User Rating: 8/10

seems to work fine

Pros:

Cons:

Review: I am not a real big cd-burning fool. all i wanted was a simple product to use to copy cd's and transfer mp3s, and this seems to work just fine. It is reasonably quick at making copies and the wizard was easy to use. As far as other products i don't know cause i haven't used them, but this seems to do the job. And it was relatively inexpensive.

User Rating: 10/10

Has to be used to be appreciated!

Pros:

Cons:

Review: I bought this program as the 1.5 version. I had a glitch and contacted the company. They responded 'right now'. Thus I rate this very highly in view of the usual lack of resonse that is so common today. I installed XP and the burner run without any problems whatsoever. This by comparison to another burner that I tried. I had to download patches and uploads etc. Then it wouldn't read a CD what I wanted to burn. Click'N Burn had not problems at all. I highly recommend this program

Less Bugs Than Roxio Under XP

Pros:

Cons:

Review: This is the simple program to burn CDs I wanted. There are no major bugs / compatibility issues with Win XP like there is with Easy CD Creator (I just could not get it to work). My compliments to Roxio for a timely refund.

User Rating: 6/10

Looks good at first glance.

Pros:

Cons:

Review: Have had many issues in even doing a simple disc copy. Not only do they not support DVD copying(which isn't that serious as how many people buy a dvd copier drive, about $500, and $12 per CD) but it is very difficult to make cds unless you know the music. I have never found a preview player.

efficient tight code, works great

Pros:

Cons:

Review: I've been using click n burn for over a year, and have been very happy. I still use NERO when I need to put in multiple indexes inside a wav file, but for most cd activities, click and burn gets my vote.

Editor's Choice? Give me a break.

Pros:

Cons:

Review: This product is 5 stand-alone programs that are integrated only in the sense that there's a common menu to choose which program to run. It won't rip - that's another program you can buy, and worst of all, the burn program has no title/track internet look-up. Do you really want to manually enter all the track names by hand. I've got thousands. I use Win 2K and I have both Nero 5.5 and Easy CD Creator 5. Nero won't recognize the burn drive unless I log on as Administrator, so it's back to the Roxio pruduct which works fine works under Win 2K with the updates installed.

User Rating: 2/10

Lots of features that don't quite work.

Pros:

Cons:

Review: It claims to make perfect cd backup's, but fails miserably when I tried backing up many games that I bought. For instance AOE2, Fifa 2001, Nba Live 2001 backups were coasters. Also there is no svcd or any dvd support at all. I'm amazed that Vob or Nti sw wasn't included in this review. Both are far superior to Click'N Burn Pro 2.0 Even Nero is better than this fluff software.

User Rating: 3/10

Very detailed and precise

Pros:

Cons:

Review: Just one problem, it does not save recordings in MP3 format. For that, you have to have Click-Rip-n-Burn, which of course, cannot record. Nice Catch-22

User Rating: 10/10

Inexpensive and not a resource hog

Pros:

Cons:

Review: like Easycd. Installed without a hitch in WinXP. No complex patching required (like Easycd) other then the current patch dated 12/03/01 on it's website. Very stable and burns like a pro. I think the interface is fine, you don't need eye candy for a cd-burner. Amazing that the actual size of the app. is less then 5 megs considering all the features.

How can this be so good with no support beyond the basic on-line #$@&#@$?

Pros:

Cons:

Review: Support, or lack thereof, is enough to send this great buring program to the dumps. Have an isue, there's not a real person to e-mail -- ever. Form letters upon form letters. At least with Roxio and Ahead you can talk with a live body.

Easiest burner program I've ever used

Pros:

Cons:

Review: Relatively simple to use. Interface could be a bit more intuitive. The learning curve is very short, only need two or three uses to have it mastered. I'd buy it again

Great alternative to Roxio Junk

Pros:

Cons:

Review: Roxio Easy CD creator worked greaet before I upgraded to windows XP. Then it never worked. Bought this program, never had a problem again and it has all the features you need.

It has an easy interface and burns all formats.

Pros:

Cons:

Review: I have been using this product for 3 months now and love it. I bought the plus version and got a free upgrade to Pro when 2.0 came out. Who needs Nero when there is Click'n burn Pro? I have 2 burners and it'll run them both great. Supports tons of burners and most all Buffer Underrun technology.

Best With my Burner

Pros:

Cons:

Review: I have tried Adaptec and B's Clip with my Sony drive. Clickn' Burn Pro is by far the easiest to use and not a single underrun after dozens of burns. Very Satisfied!

Excelent software

Pros:

Cons:

Review: Dj Burn is the only gripe with this software. Creating CD's is easy, and the Veritas DLA is something that is in line with Windows XP's burn capabilitiies.

Same as Prassi PrimoCD - great proggie!

Pros:

Cons:

Review: I've been using PrimoCD Pro from Prassi Europe (not to be confused with domestic Prassi) and it's proven a rock-solid, stable program that's got every conceivable feature you'd want for burning discs. Excellent interface, very flexible and easy wizards for those who want them. Highly recommended! Paz

Even Better FREE

Pros:

Cons:

Review: I was somewhat suprised when I viewed the screenshot of this program. I bought an Acer 20x10x40 CDRW drive recently, and the Prassi PrimoCD Plus 2.0 software included with the drive has to be the same software. The only differences between it and the screen shot of this program are the logo and the substituion of "PrimoCD" anywhere it says "Click'N'Burn". Once the program is installed, using it is really as simple as clicking your mouse. I had been using Easy Cd Creator 5.0 Platinum, but it didn't support my new drive. I only have two gripes. Although the program detects the rated recording speed of my drive as 40x, it won't reliably burn faster than 8x. Also, it'd be nice if they'd throw in something similair to Easy CD Creator's SoundStream program for touching up audio. Due to it's ease of use and reliablility(once I found the optimum speed), this program gets a lot of use.

Sounds good, but...

Pros:

Cons:

Review: I suppose I can't really comment on the actual performance of this software...since it wouldn't load! It would install fine, but then freeze while 'scanning buses'. No one answered the support line, so oh well, back to the store, and Easy CD Creator here we come!
