Pros: Everything! Power Visions content can be used off of the EV-DO network. No limitations on Copy-Protected music files, unlike VCast. Tons of Java free applications, unlike Verizon's BREW.
Cons: None at all.
Summary: I have used Verizon's pathetic attempt at offering VCast content. Since Sprint has been offering live content on their 1x network for years now, you can use Power Visions content ANYWHERE on Sprint's network. With Verizon you can only use it in the places where they have EV-DO up and running. Also with Verizon, you are forced to use BREW. That means no third party web browser, e-mail clients, applications, games, ect. You are forced to use what Verizon lets you use.
Sprint on the other hand uses the Java, which is used world wide. So you can use any free application you can find.
Also with Verizon, they limit what music files you can play on your phone. This due to a copy-right deal they made with Microsoft.
Sprint on the other hand does not have this limitation.
On every single level Sprint's Power Visions is better then VCast. Sprint also allows you to use the $10 and $15 dollard Visions access with PDA phones. Verizon charges $40 dollars extra per month!!
Trust me, stay away from Verizon. If you want to have access to more content and applications, then go with Sprint. -

Pros: Quick and plenty of Options
Cons: Need devices to hold larger memory cards.
Summary: With sprint music store, you get a licensed copy (that can go from phone to phone), but you also get a copy for your PC. So I can also create a CD for my vehicle as well. Its very easy to use and the selection is great.

Pros: the music is 99 cents, lots of music to choose from, two copies of each song.
Cons: now that the price is 99 cents a song, nothing is wrong.
Summary: i read an article that said sprint is not the number 2 download music provider behind only itunes. verizon has a music store that barely sells music. this is the store for the other wireless music providers. so this means to me that sprint is doing the right thing. they are now up to over 5 million songs in a little over a year. and now that the songs are 99 cents, those numbers are going to go up. i use my sprint music on my dell mp3 player. all of the songs work just fine. plus they give you 2 copies. 1 for the computer and mp3 players, and a very compact version for the phone. i now buy 90% of my music from sprint and plan to keep it that way.

Pros: Large selection, cheap, fast.
Cons: It's not cheaper and faster!
Summary: Just to clear one thing up: on April 1st, 2007, the price for music downloads through the Sprint Music Store was reduced to 99 cents a song, as long as you have a PCS Power Vision pack. Without a Power Vision pack, it still costs $2.50+tax+data fees.
I use this service on my LG Fusic(LX550) and have had very few with it since obtaining it on January 1st, 2007. The fact that you don't even need to be within your coverage area to listen to your music isn't half-bad either!
