"Good for the price, but not nearly the quality of rhapsody"
Pros: Cheap, good recomendations
Cons: Clunky interface, slow loading
Summary: I decided to try the big three music services: Rhapsody, Yahoo, and Napster. I never got around to Napster. I tried Rhapsody and loved it, but I decided to try Yahoo (which is half the price, I paid by the year). The interface is mediocre at best. The pages take a while to load and the songs take longer than I would like to buffer. (Yes, I have a fast connection.)
Yahoo's support is abysmal, I've never had success reaching a human, and while their online help is extensive, if something isn't in there, you just hope it gets added in the next version.
I've also been disappointed in the selection, all the billboard artists, and mainstream stuff is on YMU in force, but if you step very far outside the mainstream then there is very little music to download.
Bottom line, if you can afford Rhapsody, go for it, if you want a deal and only want mainstream stuff, YMU is a deal.
