The good: The Iomega StorCenter Pro 150d network-attached storage drive has a generous capacity; a built-in print server; Gigabit Ethernet; four USB ports for printers or hard drives; backup software included; capable of RAID 0+1 and RAID 5; hot-swappable drive; decent speeds; generous support.
The bad: No media server features.
The bottom line: The Iomega StorCenter Pro 150d is a network-attached storage drive squarely targeted at the small- and home office user. With Gigabit Ethernet, USB port, and generous capacity for a fair price, this NAS drive should satisfy those users.
The Iomega Storcenter Pro 150d is an appreciably large NAS server targeted for small- or home office use. Above-average performance and considerable storage space make this device a great solution for data archiving and backing up PCs in your office. The four built-in USB ports let you expand storage with additional USB hard drives or share a printer across the network (the drive has a built-in print server). "Product was extremely unreliable." By rclaus72
Pros: A RAID 5 unit which was compact and could integrate with a windows domain.
Cons: required too much attention in order to get it work correctly. Never worked properly.
