Pros: Performance to grow on..will still be hot in a managed switch, gigabit, multi-AP and multi band wireless environment..Available easily from within the networks as well as from the internet using typical home / small business ISP services.
Cons: It has more potential that current third party apps leverage..hopefully that will grow.
Summary: Once you move much beyond a simple wireless home with a notebook and printer, you need to invest in a bit of technology infrastructure.. this is the best base unit to grow from I can think of. We have MAC, Windows, XBOX, iTunes, Samsung media streaming....and automated backups! it all comes together with the 209+.

Pros: Easy setup, fast upnp streaming, on board bit torrent and great user interface.
Cons: although fairly quiet, i wish it were silent.
Summary: Setup is intimidating at first given all the features, but the intuitive interface makes it painless. No configuration needed under my setup. Plugged it in and it was instantly mappable within all my pcs. I have it running on a gigabit switch with a ps3 and streaming is very fast. 1080p movies fast forward and rewind with no stuttering or delays.
