Pros: Give me a week, I MAY be able to think of one.
Cons: Inconsistant results. Not very effective. Absolutely does not instill confidence in being able to recognize qualifying Wi-Fi sites.

Pros: Great toy to show off with.
Cons: It doesn't work.
Summary: It wont pick up anything from my linksys router or any of the wireless notebooks in the house. I've had it out in public, and I think one of the lights turned green once. I thought at first I had to punch in a secret code to make it work... I haven't figured out the code yet.
Pass on this one unless you want to impress the stupid people out there. -
"Kensington WiFi Finder 33063 does not do its job" on
Pros: Convenient size, easy to operate (as long as you don't expect results).
Cons: This device can not adequately sniff out a wireless access point until/unless you are quite close. All my wireless laptops pick up good usable signal long before the Kensington shows any signal at all. One clue to its uselessness is that the manufacturer

Pros: Slim, small, idiot-proof, makes good 60$ shooting target.
Cons: Where to begin.... 1. Can't pick up 802.11g at all. I held it next to a broadcasting Linksys wireless router with all the security turned off and it didn't pck anything up. 2. Customer support with Kensington sucks. Period. 3. Cost way too much. 4. E
