"Impressed with features, a few bumps"
on by pur_plexPros Easier than software for more than one PC
Cons Has some manual setup I didn't expect
Summary I really like the idea and simplicity of this thing. It is easy to plug in and it boots up to a browser registration page for each PC on your network. You can enable / disable features easily in a D-Link control panel - I was mildly disappointed that I had to manually set up a virus scan time, but now it runs and updates automatically. Other than that, the AV and firewall and filters for my 2 kids seem to work fine and offer simplicity. I haven't really tried the profiles yet, but seems to be a neat feature to control by computer or by Windows profile.

"piece of junk"
on by DrJohnEGTPros none, piece of junk
Cons would you like to go back to a 28.8 modem?
Summary Get rid of your broadband access if you install this device, it slows down access so much it feels like you have gone back to your Earthlink 28.8 modem connection!

"dangerously bad"

Cons destroys an existing LAN in nanoseconds
Summary I am the CIO of a small software devt. company, and maintain several small LANs at home and at work. I added the DSD-150 to an existing (working) LAN, exactly as instructed, between a D-Link modem and a D-Link router. The LAN died instantly, scrambling the settings of all hardware devices on the network. It took me two days to rebuild the whole thing from scratch.
Avoid.
