Pros: One device that does it all for security, if it works...

Cons: Over simplified manual. Poor tech support.

Summary: Like many small businesses, I¡¦m looking for a simple solution to resolve or block threats from external network attacks and internal abuse. The Dlink DSD-150 appears to be the perfect solution having winning so many awards. Well, don¡¦t judge everything on the cover. This device may be simple to connect and power on. The manual is also very simple to understand. But for multi-layered networks this device is difficult to setup because it seems to only function in front of the firewall, not behind. The manual doesn¡¦t go into any of these details. The manual simply illustrates how to connect the device to your modem and router. Then power them on and everything will work. Well, it doesn¡¦t work for me.

Another annoying aspect that made me write this poor review is the poor tech support. I called twice to their toll free telephone support and both times I got disconnected! Talk about frustration.

If you¡¦re looking for a simple device for home networks, I think the DSD-150 will work fine for you. But for multi-layered networks, I suggest looking for another solution.
