Bottom line
Though it works well, the Philips Wireless HDTV Link is too expensive and has us wishing for a feature or two more.
The professional-grade Gefen EXT-WHDMI may not quite match the quality of an actual HDMI cable, but its solid transmissions make it a viable candidate when wireless HDMI is the best option.
The Gigabyte SkyVision WS100 makes an excellent accessory that replaces the need for a long HDMI cable.
As an alternative to Intel's built-in Wireless Display, the Asus WiCast is both easy to use and works on nearly any laptop--but it's also cumbersome and includes some DRM limitations.
If your laptop isn't equipped with an HDMI port, the Warpia Wireless system is worth checking out if you're trying to get audio and video from a laptop to your HDTV.
