Pros

Easy to configure, Never hangs or shuts down. Handles large amounts of network traffic effortlessly. Easy to update. Nice VPN.

Cons

Standard reporting is weak, although they have some optional reports I have not used. Tracing out individual network nodes could be better. Cost of some add ons features can be pricey.

Summary

Easy to configure, not domestic router easy but you don't need a bunch of fancy certs to figure it out. Strong protection, I have yet to see a hacker get through it but have seen lots try it. Never hangs or shuts down. Handles large amounts of network traffic ... Read full review

Easy to configure, not domestic router easy but you don't need a bunch of fancy certs to figure it out. Strong protection, I have yet to see a hacker get through it but have seen lots try it. Never hangs or shuts down. Handles large amounts of network traffic effortlessly. Easy to update. Internet webpage for updates is well designed. VPN worked well and solid as well, although I haven't used the VPN feature in a long time since we've moved on to better methods.
I bought this model to replace an earlier Sonicwall. I looked really hard at Cisco but for the dollar the Sonicwall performs like a Cisco costing 2 or 3 times the cost. It is rock solid and I have never regretted choosing it over Cisco.
