"Broken software"
2.0 starson by jhdsgdjhgaPros: Was working OK with a lot of help from tech support to do anything beyond what the wizards will do.
Cons: Overly complex, finally non functional.
Summary: Requires multiple settings in various places to do much of anything, and if you're not thoroughly familiar with the product, you'll either waste scads of time or need to call tech support. But worse, it started blocking important sites and services on its own with no way to change that behavior. Then it started throwing trace information when simply trying to do a packet capture. Had to replace it with something that worked in order to continue in business. I would avoid this product and the company as a whole.
OOPS, please ignore the above. It turned out there were browser incompatibilities between Chrome and the SonicWall web interface. You'll still probably need support if you're not a network admin, but their support is low cost (free 90 days and then $70/year)
