Adobe Acrobat Security Settings leak?

John Hayes claims that Adobe has confirmed that Adobe Acrobat, in some situations, will allow the Security Settings password to be defeated. They said said the problem is on their "active list" but offered no scheduled date for a solution. They have not yet put out a public notice of the problem but it is in their internal support database as #310252.

John had found the problem in his tests of Acrobat. He adds: "For obvious reasons, I don't want to explain how it works, but I suggest that anyone planning to use the Acrobat security features in critical situations check with Adobe, referencing that document number."
