More improvements While we continue to track down specific differences between the Windows XP drivers included with Boot Camp 1.0.2 relative to Boot Camp 1.0.1, users are noting a few minor improvements.
MacFixIt reader Tony notes alleviation of a time synchronization bug:
"I just got around to installing the update, and I am happy that it fixes an annoying bug.
"Before the update, XP would always have its clock running 7 hours ahead of my time, and I would have to go through the several clicks to get to the date control panel to set it via the internet. Now it remembers after a cold reboot!
Remaining issues Meanwhile, users report persistence of some issues that they hoped would be eliminated with this update.
For instance, several users report continuing issues with audio output to headphones.
Mac mini firmware update may be required If you are running Boot Camp 1.0.2 on a Mac mini and receiving messages that you need to update firmware, you may need to apply the Mac mini (early 2006) Firmware Update 1.0.1.
