<b>Speed Doubler 8.0.1 Updater released; fixes Get Info comments glitch

Connectix has released Speed Doubler 8.0.1 Updater. According to the Read Me file, it fixes numerous bugs, such as "a problem which could prevent the user from restarting when Faster Network Copy Protocol is enabled." A separate Speed Copy Server 8.0.1 Updater is also available.

Steve Giles writes that, although surprisingly not mentioned in the Read Me file, the Speed Doubler Updater remedies a problem previously mentioned here: The Get Info comments for both files and folders are now maintained when copying files to other hard dives.
