<b>Word Perfect 3.5e file format change can cause problems

Charles Watt Jones notes that the file structure of Word Perfect 3.5e (enhanced) is different than that of 3.5. One result of this is that MacLinkPlus 9.7 cannot translate 3.5e formatted files. "So if you want to share a WP 3.5e file with a Windows friend, you have to save as WP 3.x. In fact the icon for an 'enhanced' file describes it as WordPerfect 4.x."

DataViz told Charles: "We are looking into supporting WP 3.5e files but do not have any release date yet. If we do, the earliest it would be would be around mid-year."
