Mac mini: Repeatable freeze under certain conditions?; Developer note

Michael Diehr reports a repeatable freeze that occurs when running his Mac mini headless (without a monitor) and while energy saver settings are active for which we are seeking confirmation.

Michael writes:

"I just bought a Mac Mini and am very happy with it, except I keep getting complete lockups from time to time. I think I've narrowed it down to the following combination of items:

• Mini is running w/o attached monitor
• Apple Remote Desktop
• Energy Saver, Screen Saver, or Sleep is active
