Some users have reported problems with VPN (PPTP) connections after updating to Mac OS X 10.4.9.

One reader writes:

"After updating to Mac OS x 10.4.9, I'm unable to connect to my VPN server."

In some cases, this issue can be resolved by the following steps:

  1. Launch Internet Connect (located in /Applications)
  2. Click on the VPN (PPTP) icon
  3. Go to the "Connect" menu in the menubar
  4. Select "Options"
  5. Make sure the option "Send all traffic over VPN connection" is checked.
