MYOB Account Edge 2005 wage calculation problem Michael Gallagher notifies us of MYOB's admission to customers that its new Account Edge 2005 accounting package does not calculate wages correctly when utilizing time billing.
Gallagher writes "This is the program version that many users began using as of January 1. As a work-around until an unspecified fix is implemented, they recommend allowing the program to calculate wages, then going into each employee's hours, writing them down, deleting them, and then re-entering them to force a recalculation.
"In addition, the 2005 NE version is much slower and susceptible to spinning balls, even compared to the sluggish 2004 version."
