A Better Finder Rename 4.0b1 allows users to quickly rename multiple files. Version 4.0 Preview 1 for Mac OS X is a substantial rewrite of the original Mac OS 9 code. The new version features a completely redesigned user interface and Carbon compatibility. As the Mac OS X Finder does not yet support contextual menu plug-ins A Better Finder Rename now lives in the dock.

XMorph 1.5.2 is a tool to change OS X's appearance/theme. This is at least the third update to this program in the past couple of days. This version "brings back much of the stability of prior XMorph releases. It fixes problems with the setup assistant. It also fixes problems with unexpected quits..."

TransparentDock 1.0b6 is a script that makes the Mac OS X Dock fully transparent - except for the icons of course. The update adds the "PatchFinder" utility, which hunts down patched data bytes in the data fork of a file, by comparing that file to its original.

Samba 2.2.1a is an open source implementation of the CIFS/SMB networking protocol. This update is a minor bugfix release (not security related) for 2.2.1 to fix a problem manually creating machine accounts on a Samba PDC using the smbpasswd -a -m method.
