Quicken 2003 R4 fixes investment transaction bug

MacFixIt has been provided advance word of a fix for investment transaction problems previously reported in Intuit's Quicken 2003 R3 release.

The company has now released Quicken 2003 R4, which addresses an issue Quicken had with downloading a small subset of investment transactions. Downloading certain types of investment transactions caused Quicken to unexpectedly quit.

A statement from Intuit reads: "The problem was identified through recent internal testing. As part of our efforts to encourage broader support by the brokerages, we have addressed this issue with a patch release to Quicken 2003."

Intuit recommends that all Quicken 2003 for Macintosh users install this update.
