"WordPerfect Office X3"

I purchased WordPerfect as an alternative to Microsoft Word. The font settings are totally awkward. If you want to change the font for the document, usually selecting all and changing it will work, but not in this program. You have to change the default setting for all documents, otherwise it will continue to type in the previous font, and even this does not work sometimes. I would open a document that I had already selected the font for, and it would revert back to the default font WordPerfect ships with. Even after numerous attempts to set it back, it still reverted, and starting typing in the different font. Further, when you double click a word to change it, if you place the cursor anywhere but at the end portion of the word, in selects a whole line or paragraph for some reason. I finally had enough and tried the demo of MS Word. None of the problems occurred, so there really one choice for your word processor. Don?t waste your money on this incompetent program.
