"the coolest TV ever"
Pros: Photo-realistic picture quality
Cons: not ready for mass production
Summary: The Sony XEL-1 OLED TV should not be mistaken for a mainstream flat-panel display. At this time, it is an expensive curio for technophiles and the ridiculously rich.
Still, for all its shortcomings, the XEL-1 is the most amazing TV ever. If you haven't seen one in a store, find a Sony Style store and go see it. It will change your perception of how great a screen can look. Whether for TVs or computers, OLED is on the fast track to replacing both LCD and plasma as the display technology of choice.

I saw one of these at a Sony Style store and the picture quality was superb! It is a combination of two great technologies, Plasma and LCD. The color actually looked accurate but it was hooked up to a PS3. Blu-ray looks really good on this set but I wish it was 1920x1080p. I have been looking for the smallest TV with Full HD resolution and I found two 22" models from Vizio (the VO22LF and the VA22LF) and I've been eyeing this set and the Vizio VA22LF and I think it's pretty expensive for an 11" OLED TV, but what are you gonna do?
