"Not such a great deal"
Pros: You can watch movies right away
Cons: More expensive than renting from brick and mortar stores. You have only have a limited time to watch. If you delete cookies on your system you will lose all the movies you've rented.
Summary: I like the idea of watching film that I download/stream over the internet but the system at Cinema now is NOT to my liking.
Most of the films that you would probably want to watch are around $3, some are a bit more or a bit less. For that price you get a film that you have to watch within about a day or you will lose it and have to rent it all over again. Most brick and mortar stores give you 3 days, Netflix lets you keep them till you are done.
Also, the tech support is not very good at getting back to you. I deleted cookies on my system only to discover that this empties out your 'My Videos' tray on the Cinema Now website... meaning you can't watch the movies you just paid to watch.
I've written them twice to see if there is any way of getting those movies back so I can watch them but I haven't heard back.
If they don't offer me a way of solving the issue (rather than telling me I need to pay to rent them again)I will never use them again. Movielink will work just fine.
