Pretty basic is an understatement

Pros: Very easy to use for amature websiters

Cons: No flexibility for those who are used to websites

Review: To be honest i think if you're starting out in web-design and want a simple and quick way of getting a web page up and running on the net, then i think Google is probably the best way to do that. It's very easy to use and definately helps you get to grips with the basics of web design. However, for people who've done all that before and want to experiment a bit and add more features and have more freedom with a web-page, then i'd say that google is very limited in what it can offer. The space it offers isn't exaclty huge, so you need to be careful about what you upload to the site and how big it ends up. But to be honest, because this is for starters.. I'd say i gotta rate it fairly. For me i'd give it a three. For people new to web-design i'd give it a 9. So i'm gonna give it an overall rating of 6!
Not bad, but not brilliant and definately not my cup of tea.

All many people need

Pros: Ease of use (it's google) and stunning results

Cons: No easy way to insert more advanced stuff, such as HTML

Review: This is all most people will need. An easy to use page creator, with file uploading (100 MB; not a lot, but enough.) and preset templates. Simply click and type.

Good, but not great

Pros: Easy good looking webpages put together very quickly

Cons: Not much customization allowed, if something is illigal it will edit it out, cannot add embeded google video links

Review: Google pages is another good looking easy to use tool from google, it has the ability to create good looking webpages in a matter of seconds. The perfect tool for those of you who know nothing about matching colors or webpage design. However expanding from there is an impossible task, since googlepages has such limited capabilities. You cannot customize the background for some unkown reason, and it has major issues with IE7, so if you use that brower then you will have to downgrade to IE6 or use firefox.

all that ascide i think that for a free service 100mb is very generous of google and for what you pay it is an amazing tool. If your more advanced with webdesign you may just want to buy your own domain

Google Page creator is Fast and Easy!

Pros: Quickly get a page up on the internet.

Cons: Limited in design with not a lage number of predesigned templets.

Review: Was able to create a page at http://oxmedia.googlepages.com/home
to point to my card store www.OXmediaCards.com and my graphic design site at www.OX-Media. An avenue to promote other sites tha allow you to have more control over the design aspect of the site.
