"Microsoft Windows is still the best, and 8.1 is great!"5.0 starson by erniemink1
Pros: I have used Windows since version 3.1 way back when. I have never went back to Apple. There is no reason to go to anything else since Microsoft does it all with Windows, Office and Internet Explorer, and keeps everything continually current & secure.
Cons: None at all. I have no complaints.
Summary: Since I installed Windows 8 I have seen why it is so important to ALWAYS use the most current version of Windows. Security, being current and for making sure you are compatible with all upcoming standards. The complaints people have are futile and ridiculous. There is nothing awkward about Windows 8, and to make that point clear, I am using the same exact program, since it is the same for everyone. The point of Windows 8.1 is to update Windows 8 and to add the progressive and current security of version 11 of Internet Explorer. Consumers and Americans alike always seem to miss the point. This is not about what you think or what works for you as much as what is necessary and important. When you can adapt to all of this and the above, then you will understand why Microsoft Windows is better, used more than any other place. I can also build computers using Windows where you cannot do that the same way with Apple. And there is no point to using Apple or Ubuntu Linux in the first place. Windows is just better and addresses all the main needs, points, uses and what is needed for a fluid and complete computing system. I highly recommend people to upgrade from Windows 7, even in the office, although I know that this is often unfortunately not done. This is why digital espionage and hacking happens because people always use the excuses "I do not need to upgrade. This works just fine." or the famous "I do not like to spend money." (They are a tightwad, but have no problem spending 20 thousand for a new H3 hummer. LOL. Do not listen to the gripes and negative wining of others. I build my own Windows computers, and if I have been doing this for many years, then I must be smart enough to know what I am talking about and what I am doing.
