Sony HMZ-T1 Personal 3D Viewer

Pros: The biggest pro is that it is on the market now and provides quality 3D
- very large simulated screen view
- easy to stream content onto (even self made content)
- full resolution to each eye
- very immersive

Cons: The cons grossly outweigh the positives for me
- headgear is heavy, obtrusive, adjustable (but not enough) and LARGE
- the 3D had very little depth and only slight "pop" (in the Smurfs example I saw)
- price is prohibitory
- you look like a cyborg

Summary: I tried the unit at CES and spend some time afterwards talking with other people who tried it. I am in the business of 3D without glasses (content creation, conversion, displays and the like) so i usually stay far away from the "glasses" but these had some promise for gaming. I think some people are going to love this thing but most people are going to hate it. I appreciate the small innovation and look forward to actual progression when it comes.... glasses free 3D
