Pros Great graphics love the way the game looks runs great no lag love the character creation the best i have seen in a rpg
Cons gold buying seems the aion team turns a blind eye to this its a shame that a lvl 30 toon can rape a lvl 50 toon in pvp just because the lvl 30 buys gold to buy the best gear and the lvl 50 guy plays by the rules turned me off to this game
Summary Like i said before the game looks great one of the best i have ever seen game play is smooth and questing is good some grideing but not as much sense patch but the pvp is unbalance thanks to the gold buying and Aions lack of doing anything about it toons playing by the rules do not stand a chance when pvp because they r soo many players buying gold to buy the best gear and as long as Aion turns a blind eye to this other player will be turned off by this game
Pros Beautiful graphics, has some of the most indepth combat in any MMO, very little grinding with the new 1.9 patch, fun quests with a lot of skippable cut-scenes. Amazing PVP system, mostly balanced, and centered on taking over and defending fortresses.
Cons Not much in the lines of a talent tree type system, uses Stigmas instead. With the recent server merges there seems to be a lot of faction imbalances on several servers. The economy tends to be rather expensive.
Summary I like this game because while like in most communities it has its bad apples, Aions tends to be more mature and helpful. The Legion system (like guilds) is one of the BEST I have ever seen, think Warhammer Online + LoTRO and the end product is Aions legion system. The Abyss is the PvP area in Aion, it is a beautiful but harsh area where both factions are fighting against a common enemy called the Balaur but at the same time fighting each other. In the Abyss you gain Abyss Points (AP) for everything you kill from monsters to players, you then use those points to buy PVP oriented gear, and as you accumulate AP you gain ranks in your factions "military". The only problems that I personally have with the game at the moment is on the server I play on the Elyos (my faction) are basically coddling the Asmodians (the enemy) because there are fewer of them on the server, and my other problem is the long time it takes to level. At level 25 my Gladiator needs nearly 3.5million EXP to get to level 26.And having played WoW for 4 years, I can garuntee you that this game under no circumstances ever NEEDS or should NEVER have a WoW like arena system. That system is the worse thing to happen to MMO's since F2P. Reason is this:
However with the way combat works in Aion even though it takes a long time it is still a ton of fun!

When you have an arena system like WoW's all of a sudden you have to balance around those small fights AND still try and maintain balance in large fights (like BG's or fortress battles) and you can't balance around both and have one still be viable for all classes, this is something that if it were to be implemented it would kill the Aion player base.

Pros Graphics are amazing.
The "Grind" isn't as bad as portrayed in the editors review. Although it is extensive it is nothing compared to WoW where you can expect have atleast 20+ days of gameplay to reach level cap.
Cons In WoW they had Arena, Where you can play agianst played in three seperate brackets 2v2, 3v3, 5v5; In Aion there is nothing of the sort. The PvP Aion does have is uncompetitive and in a word, lame.
Summary Summized, Aion is the best MMORPG out there currently. But it is desperately in need of a equivalent to WoWs arena.
