"Best Game I have ever played"
Pros: Excellent Graphics
Excellent multi-player gameplay
Frequent useful game updates/patches
Wide unit selection
Punkbuster anti-cheating Support
Free downloadable multi-player variety map packCons: The single player campaign is too short.
Summary: This is the best fps I have ever played an probably the best game of any sort. The graphics and visuals are stunning and mixed with a suitable amount of affects it gives you a top notch gaming experience.
The single player campaign is relatively short but gets you familiar with the controls so the game is easier to handle on multi-player. The campaign can get a little confusing sometimes especially with the switching of 2 story lines (SAS and Marines) but it runs over all the controls and visits the multi-player map settings but with some single player objectives.
Multi-player Game mode gives you a large variety of options including 5 unlockable classes and 5 slots to create you own class. On create a class you can choose you primary and secondary weapons as well as 3 different perks which can hep you kill more enemies. the perks are divided neatly into categories so you will have to choose wisely which perk you will choose from each. There are a large variety of maps including a free variety map pack that cam in the form of a patch. From tightly packed office block to wide open farm yards you are sure to find a favourite map. Another good point about the maps is that there are many different climatic scenarios such as thunder storms, heavy rain or even a hot sunny day. A variety of game modes also spill out. These include Team deathmatch, Domination, Free for all, Sabotage and many more. My personal favourite is Free for all. In differnt game modes you get different numbers of points which increase your rank. For example on Free for all you will receive 5 points for a kill, on Team Deathmatch 10 points is awarded because it is harder to kill somebody considering only half the player you can kill compared to free for all.
Like most games now a days you create a profile. From your profile you can switch between single and multi-player game modes, view your rank and challenges, access the multi-player lobby, start a new campaign or enter create a class. There are a great number of challenges spread throughout the game. Most of them are revolved around killing a certain number of enemies with a certain type of gun but there are some miscellaneous ones such as sprinting a certain distance or falling to your death from a certain height. When you complete one of these challenges in a multi-player match you are awarded points. the harder the challenge the more points you are awarded. The points get added on to your rank.
Many people have reported lag while playing the game. I am running a ATI 512mb graphics card with an Intel dual core processor with 3GB of ram and haven't experienced any lag. So overall I highly recommend this game even if you're more into strategy games or TPS because the visuals and gameplay quality really make up for it.
