Summary amazing. Well I bought this game because a friend had recommended it. It took me about 30 hours to beat, it was completly awsome! Graphics, plot, everything was perfect. One of the best games ever

Cons STEAM!! Game felt a lil short? Many loading points?

Summary I preordered this game when it was going to come out so in total i PAID $65. When I got it I installed STEAM since there was no way of playing MY game without it and I just figured that Valve was just being cautious about anyone pirating their game since the huge theft they had of this game earlier before release and my game account was going to be more secure and everyone was going to be happy now RIGHT? When I played, it was the best looking game to run on my simple laptop with all the settings n resolution on max without any slow downs. The sounds are amazing and with the gameplay it was like a combination of a movie and a game. The only bad things that I noticed of the game was the frequent loading. But I guess that was better than what Doom 3 did where they crammed huge levels into one place making the game bearly run on average PCs like mine.
Another thing I noticed was some stuttering of the games when something big was going to happen like a huge explosion or someone jumping in front of the screen but later was "fixed" with a patch release. Lastly, I felt the game was short. Maybe I was so into it and loved it that I was left asking for more. Then, the worst thing happened. My hard drive got messed up not cuz of the game but for unknown issues and so I formatted my hard drive. I installed STEAM again and my game was not on the list so I tried to enter my KEY numbers again to get MY game back and STEAM said my key # was not a valid one. I tried several times and it never worked again. I thought our games were supposed to be saved in our account. But nope. Years later I was dying to play MY game again that Valve stole away from me and the price had gone down of the game so I bought HL2 again online for $20 or $30 i dont remember and so I played again and was happy for a moment. Then came I time where I deleted Valve cuz I no longer played any of the games anymore and then just to summarize it all When I Installed STEAM again to play Episode 1 my HL2 was no longer there again and I still havent figured out how to get it back again. It should had been saved into my account but wasnt again. Oh and dont even bother trying to contacting STEAM about ur problems, if u do you will be VERY dissapointed no matter how right or wrong u are.

Pros Unlimited amout of mods, good graphics, good ai , I don't Have all day to tell you what is good about just buy it

Cons Vavle requires you to tell them everything about yourself. You have to be online to play this game

Summary Awesome game. Im giving it a 10 because its so awesome and thats even considering the fact you have to become Valves slave just to play this game. Yes it is that good. I would not have done this for any other game.
Im giving this game a 10 because while it has its flaws....it comes as close to perfect as any game ever has.
