Pros: Great graphics, Fun gameplay, and Highly interactive.

Cons: Lots of video hiccups and very linear.

Summary: This game is hard to describe. It has great graphics, interactive and enjoyable gameplay, and best of all, it includes Counter-Strike: Source.
First off, the good. This game excels in good things and never gets repetitive. There's always something unique and awesome happening no matter where you are. The unique or "boss" battles are very fun which is rare in FPS games. The game isn't too easy, but it isn't too hard either. It has quite a few puzzles in it, but nothing very challenging. The combat AI is so good you could swear you were playing Brothers In Arms at some points. The enemy pins you down, flanks you, takes cover behind anything nearby, and never ever rushes straight at you like a crazed suicidal psycho, unless its a headcrab zombie, of course :P. The graphics aren't so good that you stare at them until your eyes bleed, but they are impressive. The mapping is done very well, and the game runs surprisingly smooth on a medium ranged system such as mine. (I have 1300 megs of ram, an ATI Radeon 9600xt just to give you a basic idea.)
But no game is complete without its cons and flaws now, is it? My game suffered mildly frequent video hiccups during the course of play, probably because there is a TON of scripting put into this game. I also have had several game lock ups, particularly during conversations and long scripted sequences. Also, although not a severe drawback, but distracting as heck, is that the fire is consisted of nothing more than 2D sprites. I don't know what is up with that, but a lot of animations and sounds were taken from the first Half-Life, probably to keep the original HL fans happy, and I will admit that doing this does make the game feel a lot more like the sequel to the first Half-Life. Another thing that irritates me are the sudden and random frame rate drops, especially around water. Try turning on your flashlight and shining it down at water and watch your frame rate take a dive. But that would be expected because the water in this game is very good looking.
I give this game a 9/10. It has great gameplay, great graphics, and it keeps you in your seat for hours and hours by throwing something very exciting at you just when it starts to get boring. One of the best FPS games out there. Go buy this game if you haven't already.
