"Underwhelming... Here's hoping for a patch!"
Pros: It's HOI2+! You can do everything you could do with previous games, but more easily and with a more intuitive interface. Come on - defending the coasts of France is a boring distraction when your panzers are pouring into the Soviet Union.
Cons: The game is unplayably slow. The player will waste an entire day realtime waiting from 1936 to 1939. The "improved" AI replaced HOI2 heavily-scripted event system with a "Threat" system that creates implausible non-WW2 alliances.

"An Almost Total Disappointment"
Pros: I like the fact that you can design your own divisions and the increase in the number of provinces allows for flexible troop movements.
Also they have added more variety to the diplomacy and politics.Cons: No right mouse click menus anymore.
Easy to use production sliders are gone.
