Cons Just about everything

Summary My mother bought the Hoyle Card Games 2009 cd last year. She gave up on it after 20 minutes. I borrowed the cd just to try it, OMG!!! It wants to update everytime you start the game. I've ran the game three times so far. 1st time, 257 updates and 3 hours wasted and couldn't even go online, said cd key was invalid. 2nd time wanted to do more updates, over 250 again, I canceled the update. 3rd time ran I tried going online again and same problem as first time, it said cd key was invalid. My mother never even tried going online with it cuz she couldn't figure out the menu, which is a confusing mess. Game lags bad and my computer ain't no slouch. I went to the Encore site for info on the cd key, another joke. If you meet the criteria for a new cd key you need to pay a nominal fee, I can only imagine. From what I read in the fourms and elsewhere these are all common problems. Programs like these is why the word "Glitchware" is in the dictionary. The graphics are maybe the only redeeming quality but don't make up for the rest of this mess. Don't waste your money on this bathturd.
