Pros Impresive game with great graphics and realistic warfare, the battles and weaponry are well studied in range and accuracy, when you play it looks like a documentary movie on discovery channel, nice explosions and battle scenes, needs smart players.
Cons Loading time is huge, same historical story, Allies attack on France. No russian army, difficult to win, time consuming, bad and stupid voicing, same mission format, conquering outposts, can be boring. Hard to find online players.
Summary This game is for military informed players with relatively high IQ, it is not a fun game, it is a war training software, it needs planing, studying each move, evaluating situations, staying alert for surprises. Officers satisfies officers and reminds of sudden strike and blitzkrieg but in a better plot. It could be better if they took more of the details, for example the way soldiers speak and the way towns look like. A dark shade is dominat on the maps as if war happens only at night, if the battle is in WW2 does mean maps shouldn't be bright. Maybe a patch can fix few issues that serious players won't look at and focus on the game play. Despite few glitches in this game, it is a sample of how war RTS should be made, it includes resourcing, logistic, communication, reconnaissance, planing etc... Officers is enjoyable by officers, not easy, not fancy, not artistic... it is a war environment, and no place for error. It is a game where decision makes differences and approaches have values. Each step is accounted for and lots of anticipation is requiered.
