"Very addicting game"
Pros: Tremendous depth of possibilities, very fun and addicting
Cons: Zoom and angle limitation, AI seems lacking at times
Summary: Hard to believe that one of the best selling games of all time has not one review on CNET.
This game is very curious. To describe it to others, it sounds like the dullest thing imaginable. Yet in playing it, you lose all track of time trying to raise up your sims and get them through the day. I suppose this is the same phenomenom that makes reality TV work so well. We get enthralled watching other people's lives play out.
At this point, little needs to be said about the game play with The Sims since it's so well known. It is a classic at this point and the Sims 2 is out now and makes some very large and interesting improvements over the original. Yet, I still find myself playing the original because of its charm and simplicity. The updated version has all of the original expansion packs built in making it easy to set up and start playing away. Don't forget to eat and sleep though (you, not the Sim).
