"Powerful, but disappointed" on by rallybar
Pros: Amazing sound, beautiful and decent price
Cons: ALready had one speaker malfunction
Summary: I can't tell you what a fan of Bose I am. I have three lifestyle systems and a 3.2.1 in my sons room, All which work flawlessly. I just bought bose computer speakers, naturally, and I am not impressed at all.
As usual with Bose products the sound quality cannot be beat. It is simply unreal how much sound these babies can pump out from such a small surface area. They look pleasant on my desk, so I have no complaints there. Where I really started to get irritated was when one of the speakers started constantly fading out.
After paying 300 dollars for computer speakers I kinda expected stereotypical Bose quality. Not just in sound, but their overall drive to keep their products flawless. I am disappointed that they sold me speakers that have already lost audio control in one of the two speakers. Will be calling Bose ASAP.

"Great sound and foot print" on by joegillespie
Pros: Sattlelites are small and take up very little space on the desktop
Cons: A little pricey.
Summary: The combination of styling, space saving size and control wheel with touch mute make this sound system a winner. Price was a little steeper than other systems which what you expect from Bose.

"Nice but not that fantastic." on by metrasexual
Pros: Good sound quality. Looks great.
Cons: Poor product quality - occasional faulty speaker.
Summary: Overall I'm not very impressed with Bose quality. I find that Bose overemphasize on its sound quality, while it fails to mention its lack of product quality control. I've had the system for more than six months; occasionally one of the speakers would produce no sound. I see I’m not the only one who has such problem. Its product quality control needs great improvement.

"Unbelievable sound in a sleek package!" on by matthewkturner
Pros: Highs and lows sound equally amazing, sleek design, SUPER SWEET control pod.
Cons: Have to turn the base all the way down in my dorm room to avoid altercations.
Summary: If you love amazing sound detail, and have some extra cash to let loose, these speakers are definitely worth the money. While they are a more expensive than systems similar to them, the sound quality gained for that money is had at a bargain rate. Whether they are a serious audiophile or serious gamer, I would recommend this system to anyone.

"Outrageously Spectacular" on by english_imbecile
Pros: Awesome, clear, rich sound from those tiny speakers. Deep Bass. Great Design.
Cons: Speakers at front could be deeper. Doesn't charge iPods.
Summary: I brought these speakers specifically for my iPod. I orginally was looking at the Bose SoundDock for obvious reasons. While i was looking and listening to the Sound Dock at the Bose Showroom i noticed the Companion 3 which is the same price as the SoundDock. When i compared the SoundDock and the Companion 3 together the difference is amazing. Although the SoundDock is superb the sound of the Companion 3 blows it away. The Subwoofer is awesome and give each song that extra kick. If you are looking for iPod speakers, the Bose Companion 3 is what you want, it blow all other iPod speakers out of the competition.
