Incredible Sound, Cute Design
Pros: I was blown away when I heard the sound. It sounds as though you have thousand dollar studio monitors on your desktop. Love the little lights under each small speaker and the touch-sensitive volume control. Amazingly high audiophile quality.
Cons: Nothing bad to say!
The Creature is the latest innovation from JBL, a long time leader in the manufacture of high-end component and computer audio systems.
JBL?s audio heritage combined with continual research has provided the unique technologies included in the Creature.
The Harman Multimedia Odyssey Plus transducer is a unique full range transducer designed specifically for extremely small speaker
enclosures while providing significant mid bass. In addition to the bass, the small, rigid and light inverted aluminum cone provides performance
that will rival any tweeter used in multimedia speakers today. The result is a small and elegant satellite speaker that perfectly integrates with
the subwoofer while providing superior midrange and highs.
The Magnum series subwoofer transducer provides deep bass. This Magnum series of subwoofers are designed specifically to match with the
Harman Multimedia Odyssey these Magnum transducers.

You won't be disappointed. I know I wasn't!
Pros: Small footprint, slick look, clean sound, decent power
Cons: more expensive sets probably sound better
Not long after, my wife and I talked about putting some speakers in the bedroom to hook up to an airport express running itunes. I decided to get a second pair because I liked them first pair of creatures so much. The second pair worked as well as the first. In fact, the desktop computer sits opposite the television in our living and shares its set with with my entertainment center. Poor man's surround sound! I love these speakers - they do exactly what I want them to do and sound great doing it. You would be hard pressed to find a better set for the money - and maybe even a better set without dropping a load of cash. I won't give them a "10" because I know that better sets are out there if you are willing to spend more. Check them out!
