Pros: Long throw woofer with clean response. Perfect dual speaker response.
Cons: Slight resonance in bass cabinet at 200 to 300 HZ on only a few songs. In other words, if you listen like a demon and try to find faults that don't exist in $2000 speakers; this is it.
Summary: Excellent speakers! Don't look back or check any reviews. I expected what I got, and got what I expected! I own $2k Klipsch home speakers and these $150 don't tarnish the family name.
I played about 60 songs to test it, from jazz to rock, to bass, country, etc. WOW! Only 2 songs did I here a hint of bass cabinet resonance, but I am using a stock Gateway motherboard-incorporated soundcard.
Movie sound is as good as it gets for 2.1.
Bottom line is the long throw woofer can deliver bass down to 35 HZ, clean and crisp, exactly like audiophiles of any generation love to here or feel it.
On the first few songs and genre, I had to turn the subwoofer control down for acurate report. But on bass songs, I turned it up! You will think you are next to that anoying car at the stop light.
Perfect 10 for Klipsch!

Based on your recomendation I found these speakers on sale for $99 at best but last month. For sure, the best value I could have hoped for. Thanks for the tip derik

I bought these speakers to listen to my DVD movies, MP3's and my CD's while in my room working on my computer (iMac 20). I am extemely pleased with them. Crystal clear detailed highs with an accuracy that belies their $149 price. The bass is clean, tight, and powerful. This is definitely a high end system with a low end price. Excellent value for money. You won't be disappointed.
