"Excellent Quality, Outstanding Price"

Pros

Cheap, good sound for price, compact.

Cons

Satellites are EXTREMELY easy to topple, very unstable. Messy wiring.

Cheap, I have had these for 2 years now and they sound very good for the price, do not expect thunderous bass but it's very acceptable.
The only cons are: The two satellites are very unstable and they topple over at the slightest bump. The wiring is also very intrusive and I used to have to re-arrange it every three days or so as it would get very tangled. In all though I cannot complain about sound quality as for their price, you won't find any better.

"Great speakers for the price"

Pros

Good sound, low distortion at high volume, sub sounds crisp, appearance is nice.

Cons

I have none

For the 20 bucks we paid, they are the best speakers around. The sub sounds great and the satellites sound clear and crisp. The sub is small so dont expect it to move a ton of air and the box it is enclosed in is tuned to a higher frequency then i desire but it meshes well with the size of the speaker and there isnt much improvement that can be done. I might build a bigger box tuned to aroudn 30hz or lower but the sub really wont sound a whole lot different. for the price, this system is unmatched.

"Great, cheap set of speakers"

Pros

At ~$30, very cheap
Fairly good bass
Convenient Control Pod
At high volumes still distorts little
No wall-wort power adapter (just regular power cable into subwoofer)

Cons

Too much glossy finish

Summary

The subwoofer is where power comes in, the control pod (volume, audio connection to PC) connects, and the satalite speakers connect. Why couldn't the control pod be connected to the right speaker like most having the volume control on the right satalite speaker. The cables are long enough, however, since you can spread out the stereo 3.5mm cable for the satalite speakers (connecting to the subwoofer) if needed (I have 2 19" monitors and the speakers are fine, one on each side and the subwoofer below the desk). The audio quality is quite good, even at high volumes (aka 1/3... quite loud). I've only turned the speakers up to ~1/3 the volume (with my PC's turned to max) and it was quite loud, I'm not going to turn it too full.

The only thing I didn't like is how these have so much glossy finish on everything.

However, for ~$30, how can you complain? These are a great set of speakers, considering the price.
