Pros Size, usb, travel case, great sound
Cons a little vibration
Summary After reading all the reviews I wan't sure that these were the speakers for me. I wanted some good speakers to listen to MP3's and stuff with. My laptop speakers were just not cutting it. I don't really plan to travel with them but my laptop docking station required me to have an USB speaker system.
Once I plugged them in and started playing a song I was very impressed. If I turn it up a lot then I noticed just a little bit of vibration. I put some small rubber feet on the side of each unit and pushed each speaker up against my desk since I have an upper cabinet on my desk. They no longer vibrate at al and stay in place!
Pros Small with an easy carry case
Cons Not that much better than laptop speakers
Summary I picked up a pair of these because I was going to be travelling quite a bit. You have to be impressed with what they can do with basically no power, but I just didn't think they were $75 better than my current IBM laptop speakers or $75 more convenient than a pair of Sony V6 headphones. Not a bad product, I just don't see the point.
Pros small, no AC adapter
Cons Crappy sound
Summary I bought these speakers for their portability, and soon came to realize that the high price tag was all going toward the mobility and not the sound quality. The speakers were too tinny unless I turned on the bass boost, and when I did that the bass would crackle on some songs. I returned them and bought a larger system that sounds way better and cost 20 bucks less.
Pros Sound is good, very portable, no power cable
Cons vibrate a bit on desk
Summary So far the sound is decent. Just picked them up today. But anything hard (I tested with Chevelle) gets a bit cruncy at high volumes 90% ish.
They do vibrate a bit on my wooden desk. I cut an old neoprene mouse pad in half to use as bases. That of course can be fixed with a music player with an EQ.
My only recommendation to Logitech would be to improve the rubber foot pads a bit. Just make the entire bottom of the speaker a neopren pad.

Pros Sounds good at low Volume
Cons If you turn up the Volume very distorted
Summary No where near the quality of Altec Lansing XT1. Skips with Volume turned up. Pay the extra couple dollars for XT1 much better value!!
