Logitech X-530

Pros: Overall sound is excellent. Not expensive. Look good w ith my black NEC LCD monitor. Doesn't overwhelm my studio apt.

Cons: Because of the mounting holes' awkward angle, you have to be creative about how you mount the rears on speaker stands. The sub could use a little more ooompf.

Summary: Great set for my studio (500 sq.ft.) I have neighbors, so playing Desert Combat with a 5500 or ProMedia set would be massive overkill (and eviction) and a waste. These sound great with everything I've thrown at them - music, games, whathaveyou.
