"Best No Subwoofer Speakers"
Pros: Great sound, stylish, great for taking with you on extended stays away from home
Cons: None if you pay attention to the description
Summary: It always amazes me when people post negative views on a product because it doesn't do something it doesn't claim to do. There is no subwoofer-period and anyone looking for ground shaking bass should get speakers with a subwoofer. These speakers are definitely the best no subwoofer computer speakers in the world. Who would want such a thing? Anyone who still has the good manners not to disturb other people at 2 A.M. with booming bass. Or someone like me who takes extended trips overseas and wants decent speakers to hook up to a laptop to watch DVD's and listen to music but does not want to lug around a clunky subwoofer. The Bass on these speakers is incredible considering there is no subwoofer. As for the touch sensitive controls, I have huge clunky hands and can't do things like use a needle and thread but I had no trouble at all using the controls on these speakers and can't imagine why anyone would be so uncoordinated as to not be able to use the controls. These speakers fill a unique niche and an obviously limited target of users but are perfect for anyone who does not want or need another subwoofer taking up space and annoying the neighbors.
