"Enough bang for the buck"
Pros: Crisp sound; not too many wires
Cons: Bulky adapter
Summary: Finally, I have some good speakers hooked up to my laptop. I wanted something with crisp highs and deep enough lows, and these definitely deliver. I think 8 out of 10 is a fair rating. Not the best speakers on the market by any stretch, but they are serving me quite well.
Don't pay attention to the malcontent who gave these 2 out of 10. Perhaps he should let individuals make their own decisions. Personally, I don't need bass that makes my internal organs shake. If you do, then consider other speakers. But I'm quite satisfied with the bass on these Philips jobs.

I like the sound too, but that "Bulky Adapter" is the amplifier, good thing sine both speakers are acoustically the same
