I have been doing some research extensively about this product before actually owning one. Well I finally got one. The product is almost perfect except for the trim wheel being so stiff it almost can saw off your finger, also the clamps are very picky for desk thickness and last, although the material is made of hard durable plastic, it sure looks cosmetically cheap. Wonder if it's made in China. LOL. But no jokes people. As close to reality without spending no more than $100. A must for flight Sim fans. Buy it!!

If you fly aircraft in the real world, you know most pilots do not control with a stick! Most modern civilian aircraft use a yoke, very similar to this CH Products USB device. I've used it for YEARS with no problems. Multiple buttons in realistic positions as compared with real-life conrols give the user added support for flaps, trim, gear, etc. A "hat" is added for precision view control. A major feature of this "joystick" is the three separate axis controls which can be set to individually control throttle, prop pitch, and fuel mixture (if you so desire - it can also be set to control three separate engines). This is a plug-and-play device, but software is include if you wish to use it. The default Windows driver has suited me fine for years. The exterior is all durable plastic, but it can scratch if you're not careful. Mounting on a desk or table can be tedious if your desk is too thin. To solve my problem, I increased the depth of my table by adding a bunch of paper 3x5 cards.

The CH Products USB Yoke is an absolute must for serious flight simmers! Your realism will increase dramatically when using this great product! Keep in mind this was meant to control mostly civillian aircraft. If you wish to purchase a product for a person who like to fly mainly military aircraft or helicopters, this would not be what they are looking for. Other medal yokes do exist on the market for high-end flight simulation enthusiests, but for hundreds more dollars. This is well worth the small investment (it does cost more than a normal joystick) but it will most likely outlast the current computer you are using (and the one after that)! When combined with the CH Products USB Rudder Pedals, it becomes nearly perfect.
