"Good Product Not ready for Prime Time"
Pros: Excellent Web Surfing, Good user interface, Nice sound system
Cons: Difficult to Sync with laptop
Summary: This is a nice hand-held, however, Dell released it too early. Many users have had difficulty syncing this handheld to their computer. Activesync, the Microsoft syncing product, simply cannot detect the PDA.
I would suggest buying this product in a few months once the software bugs are worked out. Right now, you might end up wasting 3-4 days trying to get it to work.

on opening the box, there were a few problems with the device, e.g screen distortions in IE, not being recognised by activesync etc etc,
as soon as i updated the rom in the unit, everything worked fine, and it is a great PDA i would reccomend to anyone,
i wish dell would update all their units first before shipping them, it would save alot of time and frustration for anyone buying this. -
Microsoft posted this about the Activesync 4.0. Its not even offically released yet actually. You either have to set you new network detected to "trusted"...or if you can't figure it out, just turn off the firewall for syncing. Not sure if they are gonna change it for release. Maybe it's supposed to be like that and MS is gonna have instructions on using the Activesyc 4.0 with firewalls.
